About Hlane National park

Hlane National Park also holds cultural and historical significance. It was proclaimed a National Park in 1967 and is managed by Big Game Parks, a privately-owned body responsible for all of Eswatini's national parks. The name "Hlane" means "wilderness" in siSwati, reflecting the park's unspoiled natural environment. Visitors can explore the park's rich biodiversity and learn about the unique flora, such as the Leadwood and tamboti trees, which have various uses and play significant roles in the ecosystem. With its combination of stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and cultural heritage, Hlane National Park offers an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventurers.
